Black Lion Capital Advisors is a boutique firm, founded in 2013. Black Lion is client driven. Our focus is on the client’s needs. We are solution oriented and holistic in our approach. Black Lion is known for its discretion and our business is built on our reputation. Black Lion’s business is essentially repeat business or through referrals. Our clients consist of Life Insurance Companies, Hedge Funds, Pension Funds, high net worth individuals as well as small to medium sized companies seeking capital.

Principals

Dairell J. Snapp

Founder, Senior Partner

Dairell “D.J.” Snapp has owned and operated various businesses in Florida and the Caribbean over the last 43 years. Dairell is a real estate developer and has developed both residential and commercial projects in the US and the Caribbean. He has been in the banking business, and is the owner of a Commercial Real Estate Firm, Dairell J. Snapp Realty, Inc., located in Florida that services clients Nationally and Internationally. Dairell is a Past President and Officer of the Florida Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors (the largest trade association in the world.) He remains a member of the Board of Directors of both the Florida and the National Association of Realtors. He has served on the Board of various Civic, Educational and Charitable organizations. He was a United Nations Delegate (ECO-SOC), commencing in 2012. He has been invited by the UN to speak on Global Real Estate and International Financing.

Richard Zepeda

Founder, Managing Partner

Richard Zepeda, owns and operates several business holdings in the U.S., Mexico and Latin America. Richard and his families background, dating back to the early 1700s, provides him with unique connections and influence in the U.S., Mexico and Latin America. Since 1978, he has been actively engaged in the management of the family holdings and interests in Arizona, Mexico and Latin America, consisting of their Agriculture, Ranching, Banking, Real Estate and International Trade ventures. Richard is an Original Member of the Arizona/Mexico Finance Commission. He has extensive experience in physical Commodities Trading and Financial Services in the International Marketplace. He has 27 years’ experience in Commercial Real Estate Brokerage and Development. He was raised in Mexico and attended the University of Arizona.

Acquisitions

Black Lion’s clients seek our assistance in locating and acquiring specific assets for their portfolio, such as a particular type of real estate investment, in a specific market that meets detailed requirements. They may ask us to assist them in acquiring a particular type of financial instrument or financial portfolios that meet their designated criteria. Our clients generally seek “off market” investments and demand full anonymity and total confidentiality. Clients typically do not want anyone to know that they are in the market. They do not want anyone to know about an acquisition until after it has been completed.

Dispositions

Black Lion’s clients frequently seek our assistance in the disposition of specific assets from their investment portfolios. Their portfolio assets include, but are not limited to, real estate; real estate mortgages; mortgage portfolios and other tangible and intangible financial instruments. Our clients require complete anonymity and total confidentiality. They do not want anyone to know about a sale until after the transaction has been completed.

Capital

Black Lion’s clients seek our assistance with various funding needs. Funding requests include financing an acquisition and funding of specific projects. Often requests are targeted for project expansion or to secure additional working capital. Black Lion analyzes each request holistically and provides a comprehensive recommendation. Black Lion assists providing equity, debt financing, debt restructuring and securing investor partners depending on our clients’ needs and the specific circumstances.
